Appanoose Builders Camp
You may be the type of person who loves to get involved in a hands on sort of way. Builder's Camp allows you to learn to use tools in a construction project, while watching a structure take shape. In past years, Builder's Camp constructed an archery shed, a tower, an outdoor stage, and a garage.
Several years ago, during Builder's Camp an old replica of a 1920's or 30's era filling station was converted into a new snack shop and named the Filling Station. Last year, campers built a shed for storing Kayaks and lifesaving equipment.
In 2010 a game cleaning shed with space for firewood storage will be the project. Builder's Campers enjoy gaining carpentry experience along with a variety of camp activities. Builders Camp runs concurrent with All Sport and Horse Camp IV. Some activities are shared.
