River Runner Camp
For seventh through twelfth
graders.
Explore the wet and wild beauty of a river from a canoe or maybe
even a kayak as you paddle down a river under the guidance of an
experienced
leader.
River Runner Camp begins on the grounds of Camp Appanoose with Captain Lowell's fun and challenging canoeing clinic. From the camp you will travel to the top of a scenic river, use the canoe skills which you have developed at camp, and enjoy the unique experiences of river travel with confidence.

Maneuvering a canoe down a river, searching for wildlife, hiking a bluff, cooling off under a waterfall, lunch on a sandbar, a refreshing swim during a warm afternoon, or pausing for a historical sight are all experiences which will be long remembered.
